About Us

The person behind the door.

Before you know what we do, meet the person who does it.
Meet Débora

Hello, I'm Débora, and I'm honored to be part of your child's early learning journey.

Born and raised in Argentina, I grew up in a culture that values family, community, and connection above all else. After moving to the U.S., I began working with a non-profit organization, an experience that ignited my passion for child development and shaped my commitment to serving others with empathy and purpose.
I went on to earn my Parenting Instructor Certification (State of California), a Bachelor’s in Theology of Practical Ministry, and in 2021, my Coach in Healthy Habits Certification (endorsed by Mexico’s Secretary of Public Education).

In 2015, my husband Salvador and I opened our licensed, bilingual (English & Spanish) Family Child Care home in Temecula. Looking back, every hard season and every redirected plan was quietly leading me here, to this home, this calling, and the children who walk through our door every morning. 🐝

Philosophy & Values

How we see childcare.

At Debbie’s Family Child Care, play is at the heart of everything we do. Research shows it is essential for brain development, emotional intelligence, and learning readiness.

Before a child can learn, play, or thrive, they need to feel safe. Not entertained. Not managed. Safe.

Safe enough to try something new. Safe enough to fail and try again. Safe enough to miss you and still have a good day.

That is the foundation of everything we do here. Not only a curriculum. Not only a schedule. A relationship built one morning at a time, until your child walks in the door and feels: I know this place. I am okay here.

The Team

The team behind Debbie's.

Behind every morning here, there is a team.

My husband Salvador, a deputy sheriff and the quietest kind of hero, is an active part of everything we do. From the practical to the personal, he shows up for the children and families of Debbie’s the same way he shows up for everything in life: with dedication, warmth, and a whole lot of heart.

Yes, he cooks for the kids and bakes for the parents sometimes. And yes, they love it.
